DJ Driver Training is a Provider of Manual Handling Training

Manual handling is The lifting, lowering, carrying, the pulling or pushing of a load by hand or by bodily force.

Employers Requirements:-Eliminate or reduce the need for the manual handling of loads through better organisation, by mechanical means and by adequate training. Where manual handling cannot be avoided, each handling task must be assessed to identify; The risks involved, solutions to be put in place and training if required.

Employees Responsibilities:- To take reasonable care of their own safety and the safety of others, to co-operate with employer, to use P.P.E provided and not to misuse equipment.

Duty of the employee:- Must make full use of any System of work provided by the employer, put into practise special methods required as a result of the risk assessments, employ the methods taught in induction training, take reasonable care for themselves and others Co-operate with the employer and must Inform the employer of any failure in H&S procedures.
